About the event
33 veterans from the Denmark Operators will be traveling to Pittsburgh for a weekend of hockey and camaraderie on the weekend of October 13th-16th. Over the course of these days, we will be having multiple events for their visit.Â
This is Day 1: Viking Invasion Hockey Showcase.Â
The idea behind this is similar to when US Veterans went to Denmark to play. We are aiming for 8 teams total, 4 per division. Each division will play each team in their division (3 games total). After all games are played, we will ask each team to provide a list of players (amount TBD) to play on an "all-star" team for their division. The "all-stars" will then play each other.Â
Day 1 games:
Location: Baierl Ice Rink (World and Galaxy rinks)
Date: 10/13/2023 games start at 0800. all games will end by 1530.
Cutoff Date: TBD
"All-Star" Game details TBD at this time.Â
Other events are being planned for the weekend. Details will be released as they are finalized.Â
